The first Better Teaching and Learning module was developed by DBE3 and has been used in DBE3 partner districts. This module got a warm welcomes from education practitioners and many other people have been asking DBE3 to give them training using this module. To complement the printed version of the module, DBE3 has developed an eLearning version of the Better Teaching and Learning.
Training participants are developing eLearning version of Better Teaching and Learning.
The eLearning version is expected to be distributed to all DBE3 partner districts, especially those in remote areas.
The eLearning version was created during the training on eLearning entitled ?Better Teaching and Learning Module to reach a Greater Audience?. The workshop was given by DBE3 in collaboration with the South East Asian Minister of Education Organization (SEAMOLEC). The training was conducted in Bandung from July 21-31, involving participants from SEAMOLEC and its partners.
By the end of the training, participants had started to develop an eLearning version of Better Teaching and Learning. The work was then continued by a team consisting of four workshop participants and a consultant.
This team is working on the final version. It is planned to test the new module at the end of August in East Java. The module is expected to be ready for general use by the end of September 2009.
